Desired Species Perk: Diverse: Humanity is a diverse lot, with many cultures and societies. They are even more capable at adapting to new cultures. Humans have an easier time assimilating into other cultures. This allows for easier integration of non-human species into a human Empire and vice-versa.

Early History:
Early human history is earmarked with intense advancement. Developing in the central regions of the African Continent, humanity spread out to dominate and eventually interbreed with or annihilate all other Hominids. It soon became the dominant species on the planet. Soon enough, humanity was on every continent except Antarctica, the frozen continent at the South Pole of their homeworld, Earth. Early cultures developed, reputably Mesopotamia being the first "true" society. Soon, advanced construction techniques evolved on all continents, each culture showing amazing diversity in their architectural design and technological advancements. The development of religion led to advancements in social strictures, creating more developed social groupings. This is a unique trait among humans on their world, as no other creature has reached such a level of sapiency to develop belief systems.

Early empires formed, with specific powers dominating entire regions. The rise of the Greek city-states led to great social advancement, with the development of the concept of Democracy. This was later continued by the Roman empire, the greatest European empire up until the rise of Colonialism. As humanity advanced at an unstoppable rate, the unthinkable happened. The Roman Empire, driving force behind humanity's advancement in Europe, falls apart. Religious leaders fill the void, instilling a Dark Age upon European humanity. Elsewhere, humanity continues forward. After many conflicts, Europe finally breaks out of it's technological and social depression, freeing itself in what is now known as the "Renaissance". Humanity once again skyrockets. In a few centuries, humanity has fully reunited with itself. The Americas are "discovered" by European explorers and subsequently conquered and colonized. Africa, cradle of humanity, is pillaged and claimed as plunder for European nations. Asia is neatly organized into European realms. This begins the age of Colonialism.

During the age of Colonialism, humanity developed even further. With the advent of efficient firearms, it became exceedingly easy for humans to kill each other. Early semi-automatic weaponry is invented, humanity spirals down towards it's own self-destruction. The "Machinegun" is invented, furthering the horror we can do onto ourselves. Meanwhile, automobiles and aeroplanes are invented and subsequently developed into weapons of war. World War I, fought mainly in the European theater but also in parts of Africa and Asia. Faction dubbed the "Allies" defeats the "Central Powers", which only leads to another, far more horrendous war two decades later. The war is stopped by the advent and subsequent use of the Atomic Bomb, the worlds first true Weapon of Mass Destruction. The two remaining powers, the United States and the Soviet Union, squared off and began what was known as the Cold War. A space race ensued, with both nations vying to be the first into orbit. The Soviet Union took the prize of reaching space with the launch of the satellite "Sputnik". The United States swiftly returned the favor, landing the first human being on the Earth's satellite body, the "Moon".
