Description of Capital/homeworld and other settlements of note:

Government: Ruled by a collective of Elders who are voted for life (or until forceful removal) to serve in a totalitarian council that decides galaxy-wide policies. This council currently is made up of 100 members. 40% of the seats are from Krei-La, and the other 6 planets each have a 10% representation in this council. The name for thei council is The Council of the Monolith, named for the ancient geometric piece of black marble that is thrust out from the ground

Name of Leader(s) and deity(s): Currently aside from the Council of the Monolith,there is no leader, though great generals can be elected dictator in times of great crisis. The deity that is worshipped by all Krei-Lin is called The Great Architect. The only two things he and his clergy ask of them is to make your life productive, whereby you leave something more than as you had found it, and that you find a death that you feel properly defines yourself.

People of importance:

• Beowulf Wyshkowski is the most venerable Commander of any Krei-Lin military leader, and he currently holds the rank of Fleet Commander, commanding all souls aboard three Gargantuan transport/battleships.
  
• High Priest to the Monolith: The religious leader of the Krei-Lin. He attempts to use geometry to divine the future based on his readings in the various facets and angles found in the Monolith on Krei-La.
  

Economic Type: No Imperial currency. Each planet may mint it's own, and there are companies that sell credit chips that may be used anywhere in the empire.

Desired Social Perk: Hives of Scum and Villany: Because of the rather unique mixture or loose and stranglingly-tight policies that the empire has, often several loopholes can be found in planetary law to allow for the harboring of smugglers, trafficking of contraband, and even the wholesale of arms and armies to the highest bidder. It is common practice for worried astroid farmers to hire out small parts of a fleet from it's commander as protection. If a person were rich enough, they could BUY the imperial army for whatever reasons they would need them for. These services are open to ANY who have something to offer in return.

Technology Tree: Varries. Some planets or sections of planet can be downright rural, with work being done by manual labor, or they can have modern metropolitan cities where the elite go to live and do business while the whole city acts as one butler/maid to it's millions of hots every need. Militaries and Asteroid farmers are by definition of their jobs wielding the most advanced of technology. Standard military grade armor is highly resistant to temperature and atmospheric conditions, and can even function as a diving or deep space suit. It's stopping power is somewhat negligible though. It will stop most ballistics from penetrating the suit, and it is stab proof to the best metals that the species have developed thus far. They're weaponry includes a hand axe that uses vibration technology to cleave through all but military grade armors, and Guns that still use bullet technology. Their ships use rail-gun and thermal bomb weaponry that can puncture hulls and melt away armor.

History:

• The Architect creates the planet and all life within it. After some thousand million years perfecting his work, he finalized the Krei-Lin.
  
• The Krei-Lin, through use of mathematics, divine the way of the world by studying the geometric lines and curves of The Monolith, a naturally occurring and highly complex formation of black marble.
  
• Due to overpopulation from Immortality to aging, the first 10,000 years of their history is filled with constant warfare for land, titles, resources, and control of The Monolith.
  
• Five thousand years after the first birth control policies were forced into planet wide effect, Krei-Lin clergy divine a pathway to the stars in the facets of The Monolith.
  
• after 14,487 years of recorded history, the Krei Linn are at the current day.
